After a long drive through the woods, endlessly searching for any sign of civilisation, we came upon this small picturesque watering hole, 'The Inn at Whitewell'.  We were welcomed with tea  and coffee, before collectively humping mountains of  gear into a rather large marquee.  Setting up next to a giant chessboard dance floor, tables laid for a wedding feast, and flower centre pieces of some magnificence.

In we arrived, 5 scruffs and a mound of amps, drums, guitars and the like.  After untangling the wires, plugging in anything that looked like it would work, we finally made a sound.  Well four of us did! 

Turned out the lead guitars amp had decided to stop working.  Off they set, back through the woods, looking for the M6.  Finally returning 2 1/2 hours later with another amp head., but now knowing how to get the the Inn at Whitewell without the aid of a sat-nav.

Following a quick plug in and strum, we were into the first dance.  A song picked by the Bride and Groom, The words of which We think truly reflect the occasion. 

4 hours of an ear-bashing later we finish what has been a great evening Finishing as we started with Led Zeppelin.

First CROFT CARNIVAL outdoors in the afternoon, through the Rain-storms, thanks to everyone who stayed and listened, we hope you enjoyed the sets.  Thanks also to the Carnival committee for the invite.  We hope we can do it again sometime in the future.  CROFT-FEST here we come.!!

Then in the Evening at the Hoop and Mallet Callands.  Another really good crowd, full of new faces which was great and encouraging.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.  It felt goooodd!!  Thanks to the pub landlord and landlady

One Knackered band!!

Firstly you can catch us at the Croft Carnival, Croft outside Warrington.  Playing outdoors on the carnival field. Bring the family for a great day out, wi9th loads of things to do, and of course a great rock band to listen too.                  There's also a beer tent for those who wish for refreshment.  What could be better, outside in the sun, beer in hand listening to some classic rock tunes played live and loud

In the evening we are then playing at the Hoop and Mallet in Callands, warrington.  Again expect a rockin good night

We are back at some old favourite venues, and a few new ones as well.  Also looking forward to an afternoon of fun at the Carnival in Croft on the 5th July.  A good day for the family if you fancy it. (There is a beer tent!!)

From the first chord to the last cymbal crash the band played, inspired by a great crowd. 

I don't think we will forget the combined voices of  what sounded like the Chester male voice choir in the verse of 'You Really got me' , and with the final tune of the night I'm sure they could hear it over the Welsh Border.  It was 'All right now' for us I tell you.

The crowd were a great bunch, dancing the night away, and as for the little one, I think she is definitely a little Rocker in the making.

We are looking forward to continuing to gig for all our venues into next year.

Shaun has gone down to London to study Vocals and music, and we wish him well for the future, and thank him for a great year with Phoenix.  We hope he finds success and a career in the music industry that he so clearly loves and deserves!

We will be updating the Website and other websites such as My-space and Northwest-bands shortly.  But for now we would like to welcome Steve, and assure all venues and individuals who have been kind enough to support us that we will continue to rock, and provide them with music of quality.
