13 July 2008 What a fantastic gig on Saturday at The Hindley Arms. Thanks to Dee and Dave for a warm welcome, food and drinks.

Hindley should be proud of such a great group of people who obviously love live music, in a venue made for it.  Thanks to all, we had a great night, even the impromptu 'whole lot of Rosie' with guest vocalist.

6th July 2008 What a great Saturday of Music for Us

First CROFT CARNIVAL outdoors in the afternoon, through the Rain-storms, thanks to everyone who stayed and listened, we hope you enjoyed the sets.  Thanks also to the Carnival committee for the invite.  We hope we can do it again sometime in the future.  CROFT-FEST here we come.!!

Then in the Evening at the Hoop and Mallet Callands.  Another really good crowd, full of new faces which was great and encouraging.  I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.  It felt goooodd!!  Thanks to the pub landlord and landlady

3 July 2008 Looking forward to a full Saturday on the 5th July.

Firstly you can catch us at the Croft Carnival, Croft outside Warrington.  Playing outdoors on the carnival field. Bring the family for a great day out, wi9th loads of things to do, and of course a great rock band to listen too.                  There's also a beer tent for those who wish for refreshment.  What could be better, outside in the sun, beer in hand listening to some classic rock tunes played live and loud

In the evening we are then playing at the Hoop and Mallet in Callands, warrington.  Again expect a rockin good night

11 June 2008 Had a couple of gig free weeks, holidays etc. but looking forward to a summer of gigging.  Hope you can catch up with us at one of the gigs listed on the gig page.

We are back at some old favourite venues, and a few new ones as well.  Also looking forward to an afternoon of fun at the Carnival in Croft on the 5th July.  A good day for the family if you fancy it. (There is a beer tent!!)

25th May 2008 Just finished our set at Whittles in Oldham.  Awesome evening, great crowd and it was nice not having to worry about the sound.

Thanks to all at the place for a warm welcome, and I hope we will be back there soon. 

24th May 2008 Thanks for the great welcome at the Talbot, Burnley on Friday Night.  Our First night playing their and it felt good!!!

19th April 2008 A change of scenery at the Wheatsheaf on Saturday.  We had just got used to playing in front of a cig machine, and the ladies loo.

A much better view though , (more compact for a five piece, but we squeezed the amps in, built the drums around the drummer, and let rip!)

13 April 2008 Thanks to Lee and everyone at the Chester Bells last night (Sat 12th April).  It was a great night, and from all the feedback we had, we are sure you enjoyed yourselves. . . We certainly did !

From the first chord to the last cymbal crash the band played, inspired by a great crowd. 

I don't think we will forget the combined voices of  what sounded like the Chester male voice choir in the verse of 'You Really got me' , and with the final tune of the night I'm sure they could hear it over the Welsh Border.  It was 'All right now' for us I tell you.

5 April 2008 Looking forward to the Chester Bells next week, should be a good gig.  The Venue is great, so for all those fans of live rock, played in a venue that really appreciates it please come along.

27th Jan 2008 What a superb night at Dukinfield on Saturday at the Stalybridge Motorcycle Clubs annual Charity night.  I think we were on a high for hours after!

Thanks to all at SMC for inviting us, and allowing us to play for you, thanks also to all for the assistance with the gear, both in and out.

Also must mention McLeod, great set fella's.

The crowd were a great bunch, dancing the night away, and as for the little one, I think she is definitely a little Rocker in the making.

 
28th Oct 2007 We are very pleased to welcome our new vocalist Steve to Phoenix. 

We are looking forward to continuing to gig for all our venues into next year.

Shaun has gone down to London to study Vocals and music, and we wish him well for the future, and thank him for a great year with Phoenix.  We hope he finds success and a career in the music industry that he so clearly loves and deserves!

We will be updating the Website and other websites such as My-space and Northwest-bands shortly.  But for now we would like to welcome Steve, and assure all venues and individuals who have been kind enough to support us that we will continue to rock, and provide them with music of quality.

 
22 Oct 2007 Unfortunately we are having to cancel the gig at the Wheatsheaf, Altringham on the 27th Oct.  Shaun has a very bad throat infection.  Also the redbrick on the 10th November has been cancelled, we believe the venue is no longer having bands after a change in management.
